About Improve ME
Improve ME Institute is a KHDA-approved tutoring centre based at Gold & Diamond Park, Dubai. Established in 2010, we support over 1,000 students every year aged 3 to 18 across a wide range of subjects and qualification levels — from EYFS and Key Stage 1 through to GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, IB Diploma, and MYP. We teach exclusively in small groups, with a maximum of six students and most groups averaging two to three. Every child receives focused, individual attention in every session.
We are located at Suites 3010–3017, Building 3, Gold and Diamond Park, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai. The centre sits directly next to the Equiti Metro Station and free parking is available on site.
Yes — Improve ME Institute is fully approved by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), Dubai's regulatory body for private education. KHDA approval confirms that our teaching standards, premises, and operations meet the requirements set for educational centres in Dubai.
We support students from age 3 (FS1/Nursery) through to age 18 (Year 13), covering the full school journey from EYFS and primary through to GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, IB Diploma, and MYP. Our Primary Department covers KG1 to Year 6, and our Secondary Department covers Year 7 to Year 13.
Improve ME Institute was established in 2010. We have been supporting Dubai families for over 15 years, earning a 4.8-star rating from more than 200 Google reviews. Over 1,000 students trust us with their education every year.
No — we support students across all major curricula taught in Dubai, including the British curriculum (GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level), the International Baccalaureate (MYP and Diploma), and early years frameworks including EYFS. If you are unsure whether we cover your child's curriculum, contact us and we will advise you directly.
Subjects & Curriculum
We offer tuition across a comprehensive range of subjects including Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Business Studies, Economics, and Psychology. At primary level, we deliver our proprietary MaThesis (Mathematics) and EngLit (English) programmes, along with Science for Years 4–6. We also offer specialist programmes including Chess Mastery, AI Literacy, Financial Literacy, CAT4 Test Prep, 7+/11+ Entrance Preparation, and Educational Counselling. See our full subject list on the Our Courses page.
We cover the core IB Diploma and MYP subjects including Mathematics (Analysis & Approaches and Applications & Interpretation at HL and SL), Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Business Management, and Psychology. For IB subjects not listed, contact us and we will advise on availability.
Yes — we support both GCSE (AQA, Edexcel, and OCR) and IGCSE (Cambridge International and Edexcel International). The two qualifications have different assessment structures and we tailor our preparation accordingly. If you are unsure which your child is studying, check with their school or share their subject specification with us.
Yes — we support primary students across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 in Mathematics, English, and Science. Our primary programmes — MaThesis and EngLit — are structured around the British curriculum and designed to build strong foundations while developing genuine confidence and ability.
Yes — Chess Mastery, AI Literacy, and Financial Literacy are all available at Improve ME. These programmes develop strategic thinking, critical reasoning, and future-facing skills alongside core academic subjects. They are suitable for students from age 6 upwards and run alongside our regular academic timetable.
Yes — we offer specialist 7+ and 11+ Entrance Preparation for students targeting competitive school admissions. Our programme covers the verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, mathematics, and English components typically tested in these assessments, with structured practice and exam technique built in throughout.
At primary level and Key Stage 3, science is taught as a single integrated subject — exactly as it is in school at those stages. Our approach at KS3 is booster-focused: we expect the school to cover the core content, and our sessions concentrate on reinforcing understanding and building exam technique around what is already being taught.
From GCSE onwards, the sciences separate into distinct qualifications — Physics, Chemistry, and Biology each have their own page and their own specialist tutor. Our Science tutors at GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, and IB level hold degrees in their specific field and teach only their specialist subject.
These subjects are offered from Year 10 onwards, beginning at GCSE or IGCSE level. If your child is in Years 7–9 and is interested in these subjects, we recommend exploring our Educational Counselling service, which can help with early subject planning and pathway decisions.
Booking & Assessments
You can book a free assessment by completing the enquiry form on our Contact page, calling us directly, or sending us a WhatsApp message. We will arrange a convenient time for your child to visit the centre. You do not need to complete any forms before the assessment itself — the enquiry form is optional but helps us prepare in advance and ensure we reach you quickly.
These are two separate forms used at different stages of the process.
The enquiry form — labelled "Book a Free Assessment" on our Contact page — is your starting point. Completing it is optional but encouraged: it helps us understand your child's needs before you visit and allows us to reach out to confirm your appointment quickly. It is not a commitment of any kind.
The enrolment form is completed after your child's assessment, once you have decided to join and confirmed your schedule. Every new student must complete the enrolment form before their first session — enrolment cannot be confirmed without it. You can find the enrolment form at improvemeinstitute.com/enrolment-page.
The free assessment is a short diagnostic evaluation carried out by one of our subject tutors. Each subject takes approximately 8 to 10 minutes, so if your child is being assessed in two subjects, you should allow around 20 minutes in total. The assessment helps us understand your child's current level, identify specific gaps, and recommend the most appropriate group and learning plan. It is not a test to pass or fail — it is simply a starting point.
Once the assessment is complete, our tutors will share their feedback alongside recommended session times that fit your child's level, curriculum, and schedule. Slots fill up quickly, so we recommend confirming your place as soon as possible. Once a schedule is agreed and payment is completed, your child's place is confirmed.
Yes — trial classes are available subject to availability. A trial session is charged at AED 350 per subject. If you decide to continue and enrol following the trial, the AED 350 is refunded and credited in full against your chosen subject package. The trial carries no further obligation if you decide not to proceed.
To arrange a trial class, please mention it when you book your free assessment and we will advise on current availability.
No forms are required before the assessment itself. If you have not already completed the enquiry form, there is nothing to prepare — simply arrive for your scheduled appointment.
The enrolment form is completed after the assessment, once you have confirmed your place and agreed your schedule. You can find it at improvemeinstitute.com/enrolment-page. Every enrolled student must complete this form before their first session begins.
We understand that schedules can change. If you need to move your assessment date, simply contact us and we will find the earliest available alternative slot.

The package discount applies only when the full block is booked upfront; it does not apply to shorter bookings or individual sessions. Contact us for a personalised quote based on your child's year group and subjects.
Payment plans are available upon request, provided the total invoiced amount exceeds AED 4,000. If approved, the first instalment is 60% of the total, with the remaining balance due once half of the sessions have been completed. Please speak to our team to request a payment plan.
Fees are payable via bank transfer or payment link. Full payment details are confirmed at the time of booking. Please speak to our admin team if you have any questions about payment.
No — all session fees are subject to an additional 5% VAT in line with UAE tax regulations. VAT is clearly shown on all invoices.
Yes. We run Summer and Winter School programmes for students from FS1 to Year 13. Holiday rates are structured by the number of sessions per week, with per-session rates decreasing as frequency increases. Holiday pricing is available to students enrolled in the most recent term. Contact us for current availability and rates.
Crash courses are intensive subject programmes for students in Years 10 and 11 who need focused exam preparation. Each crash course covers 12 hours of teaching per subject. For Year 10 the total is AED 1,440 per subject, and for Year 11 it is AED 1,800 per subject. The discounted rate applies when the full 12-hour block is booked. All fees are subject to 5% VAT.
Sessions & Format
Session length varies by age group. EYFS sessions are 45 minutes. From Year 2 onwards, standard sessions are 60 minutes per subject. CAT4 preparation sessions at primary level run for two hours, covering both Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning in a single block.
For students with ongoing support needs, we typically recommend one to two sessions per subject per week. For students approaching examinations, two to three sessions per week is common. Our tutors will advise on the recommended frequency following the initial assessment.
We teach exclusively in small groups, with a maximum of six students and most groups averaging two to three. We do not offer large group or classroom-style sessions. The small group format means every student receives individual attention and direct feedback in every session.
Small group sessions create a learning dynamic that private tutoring cannot replicate. Students who might hesitate to ask a question often find that a classmate asks it first — opening the explanation for everyone in the group. That peer dynamic builds academic confidence over time: students become more willing to attempt problems, challenge their thinking, and engage actively with the material.
Our groups average two to three students — small enough that every child receives individual attention and direct feedback in every session. You get the focus and accountability of personalised support, without the pressure and isolation of sitting alone with a tutor.
Yes. Every student has a structured learning plan developed following their initial assessment. Sessions follow this plan, adapting as the student progresses. Every session has a clear objective and builds on the previous one.
Every student is assessed before joining a group. Sessions are then structured to match the level of the students in that group.
For students with strong existing knowledge, sessions typically open with an independent problem or question, followed by targeted doubt-clearing and timed exam practice. For students building from the foundations, the session begins with content introduction and guided discussion before moving to practice and assignments.
Groups are formed by year group, curriculum, exam board, and specification — so your child is always working alongside students at an equivalent stage.
If your child needs to miss a session, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance via phone, email, or WhatsApp. Students who notify us in advance are entitled to a make-up session, subject to teacher availability. Students who do not attend without prior notice will not be offered a make-up class.
Make-up sessions are available per subject per term, subject to teacher availability. Primary Department students are entitled to one make-up session per subject per term. Secondary Department students are entitled to two make-up sessions per subject per term. Make-up sessions are scheduled based on teacher availability or during half-term, must be completed before the end of the current term, and cannot be carried over to the following term. Unused make-up sessions expire at the end of each term.
Our sessions are primarily delivered in-person at our Gold & Diamond Park centre, and we recommend in-person attendance for the best outcomes. Online sessions are available in certain circumstances — please mention your preference when you enquire and we will advise on current availability.
If your child's regular tutor is unavailable, we will arrange for a qualified substitute tutor to cover the class. All of our tutors hold a bachelor's or master's degree in their subject and are trained to our teaching methodology, so your child's learning will not be disrupted. You will be notified in advance wherever possible.
Yes. New students are welcome to join at any point during the term. If your child starts after the mid-term point, fees are calculated on a pro-rated basis, with a minimum of half-term fees applicable.
Results & Progress
All of our tutors hold at least a bachelor's degree in their subject area, and many hold master's degrees. Our Secondary Department is led by our co-founders: Shaun Daswani, who holds an MSc in Mathematics from Imperial College London and a BSc in Mathematics and Economics from UCL; and Jason Daswani, who holds a BSc in Mathematics from the London School of Economics. Every tutor also completes structured in-house training to ensure full alignment with our teaching methodology and the specific requirements of each exam board.
We use a data-driven progress report that is updated by your child's tutor after every session. Parents can log in to view the report at any time. It records the topics covered in each session and whether homework has been submitted — homework completion is one of the most reliable live indicators of a student's engagement and progress trajectory.
In addition to the report, parents receive direct contact — by phone, message, or meeting — if anything needs attention between sessions. For secondary students in exam years, progress is also monitored against grade targets, and parents are alerted promptly if preparation or expected work is falling behind.
Our students consistently achieve strong results at GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, and IB — with many securing places at leading UK and international universities. We support students from some of Dubai's top schools and hold a 4.8-star Google rating from over 200 families. Specific grade outcomes and university destinations are available on our results page.
Yes — mock exam preparation is a core part of our programme for exam-year students. We use timed past paper sessions, mark scheme feedback, and mock results to identify remaining gaps and adjust the revision plan for the final stretch.
Most parents and students begin to notice a visible improvement within a full term of consistent attendance. Progress depends on the student's starting point, how regularly they attend, and — crucially — how consistently homework is completed between sessions.
Think of it like a relationship with a doctor: if you do not follow the advice given between appointments, improvement will be slower regardless of the quality of the consultation. Students who attend consistently and complete their work between sessions make the fastest progress.
Our tutors will give you an honest picture of expected progress at the assessment stage — including a realistic timeline based on your child's current level and target grade.
If a student's progress is not on track, we will discuss this with you directly and make appropriate adjustments — whether that means modifying the learning plan, increasing session frequency, or reviewing the group allocation. We are committed to every student's outcomes and will not simply continue sessions that are not delivering results.
